WHAT?!?! BLACK FRIDAY SALES ALREADY????
Friday, October 30th, 2009
So its the day before Halloween and you can already find Black Friday deals!! Some major department stores have Black Friday “doorbuster deals” and the prices on TV’s, video cameras and GPS’s have already been reduced! If you bought a TV for $899 last month you could probably find it now for considerably less… even cell phone prices are going down!
So what’s it mean? Deals, deals, deals! Isn’t that what we’re all looking for anyway? For the first time in my life I tink I WILL actually start my holiday shopping BEFORE the holidays!

JOIN ENZO SALON AND HELP THE CLEVELAND FOODBANK!
Thursday, October 29th, 2009Head out to a great event next weekend with our friends from Enzo’s Salon - you’ve heard them in studio many times for Whatever Deals!! Here’s the scoop:
Enzo’s Salon & Spa of North Royalton & Avon Lake will be hosting a hair and fashion show downtown at the newly renovated Blind Pig Lounge. The event, aptly named Hairstylists Against Hunger, is scheduled for Saturday, November 7, 2009 from 7 until 10 PM. All proceeds will be donated to the Cleveland Foodbank.
The economy has negatively impacted the Cleveland area causing the unemployment rate to surge. As the number of unemployed and under-employed continues to grow, more and more individuals are struggling to feed themselves and their families.
One in four young children live on the brink of hunger in Ohio, according to a new report issued by Feeding America. In Ohio, more than 23 percent of children under the age of five, or more than 170,000, live in food insecure homes, ranking the state third in the nation just behind Louisiana and North Carolina.
This unprecedented need has placed a tremendous burden on the Foodbank and their
food supplies have reached critical lows.
Those interested in helping Cleveland’s hungry are encouraged to attend the event. They will enjoy free appetizers and drink specials, silent auctions, and door prizes, as well as gift certificates to local businesses. For more information, visit www.SalonEnzo.com.
